NRA RANGE SAFETY OFFICER CLASS

Saturday – November 1, 2025

Scouting America Shooting Ranges require the supervision of a Trained Range Safety Officer (RSO)

If you are 21 years old or older and interested in working with Scouts in the Chickasaw Council Range and Target Activities Program, come take this one-day class to become a trained RSO. If so, you will most certainly put a smile on a Scout’s face and yours too.

You do not have to be proficient with firearms to be an RSO.

There will always be a trained Instructor on the range to assist Scouts shooting. As an RSO, you will be responsible for the safety of the range.
