Sustain the mission. strengthen the future

what is the 1916 society?

The 1916 Society is a legacy and endowment giving initiative created to ensure the long-term strength and sustainability of Scouting in the Mid-South.

Through meaningful contributions today or planned gifts for the future, members help secure resources that will serve youth and communities for generations to come.

Membership is extended to those who make a gift of $10,000 or more or establish a planned gift of $25,000 or more.

Why give

Scouting has been shaping leaders, building character, and strengthening communities for more than a century.

The 1916 Society ensures that this mission continues by providing lasting financial support that allows future generations of youth to grow, lead, and thrive. Your gift is not just an investment in programs today, but a commitment to the enduring impact of Scouting.

By giving, you help secure the resources needed to expand opportunities, reach more young people, and preserve the values that define Scouting. It is a powerful way to create a legacy; a legacy that will be felt not just now, but for generations to come.
