B.A.L.O.O. Training at Camp Currier, March 27-28, 2021 (U of S)
The Chickasaw Council will be offering the Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (B.A.L.O.O.) at Camp Currier, from March 27-28, 2021. (The course begins on Saturday, March 27, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending on Sunday, March 28, at 12:00 p.m.) The cost to participate is $25.00, which includes the course materials, food for the training, and a University of Scouting patch.
Who Should Attend?
- Any registered Cub Scout leader including Cubmasters, den leaders, assistants, and committee members.
- Any parents who are interested in Cub Scout camping events. This training will give the skills to assist registered leaders on outdoor events
What is B.A.L.O.O.?
- B.A.L.O.O. is a training that teaches adults how to run exciting outdoor Cub Scout events!
- Learn how to plan and execute Cub Scout camping events. Creating a safe environment for families to have great food while having fun and making memories.
- Campsite selection and setup, meal planning, cooking and cleaning, program planning, plus other topics will all be discussed!
