About
The Purpose of the Scouting Program
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
Scouting in the Mid-South
The Chickasaw Council serves nearly seven thousand youth in seventeen counties in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. The dedicated council staff, along with an army of incredible volunteers works tirelessly to deliver a quality year-round program that meets the advancement and enrichment needs of our youth members, through Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts), Venturing, Sea Scouts, and Exploring.
Whether you are a parent, a volunteer, a youth, a donor, or a member of one of the communities we serve, our hope is that you find any and all information for which you are looking here. Please reach out to us if there is anything with which we can assist.
